Piranha 3D (2010) Review:
Having hugely enjoyed the 1978 and 1981 Piranha‘s movies when I was a kid, I remember being quite excited at the idea of a 3D remake of such classics – especially since the old ones kinda look like they could use a remake with modern special effects. Unfortunately, I found the remake to pale in comparison to the original in almost every aspect. First, I was curious to see what new ideas they would have – the answer is “none�. Apart from a few party teens getting bitten/ eaten, nothing amazing is to report about this 3D remake. The piranhas look very cool and sometimes scary though. Beeing quite found of “bad creature� movie, this the kind of movie that entertains me, and for this reason I would still recommend that you watch it – whilst doing something else maybe.
