Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) Review:

Just when the P.A. series could have just repeated itself and produce worst and worst movies, this third episode appears as a nice surprise. The concept has been modified a little and the idea of an “imaginary” friend refreshes a bit the saga and allow the movie to scare us with something else than simple pot moving and door closing for once. The storyline is also a bit more complex than usual, and brings some new elements to the series. Maybe not as good as the first one (again, it has lost its element of surprise), this one is a close second.

Paranormal Activity 3 is an effective prequel and allows you to look at the first two parts in a whole new light and also the fourth series will be promising.
