The Collector (2009) Review:

The Collector is a really innovative movie, sort of a mix between Saw and a slasher movie.

The story is similar to the Saw series, both complex and told in a reverse sort of way where you get to understand it fully only towards the end of the movie. But like in a slasher, the best aspect of this movie is villain, a very intriguing masked killer that set very elaborated (and very cool) traps. Seeing the characters activating them one after the other is so much fun and, in the way similar to the Final Destination franchise, the guilty pleasure of the movie. The scenario, without being crazy, is decent and efficient, with his lot of twits and surprise. A good entertaining movie for those who like thriller-horror and Saw-like movies.
