Saw 3D (2010) Synopsis:
In this supposedly final episode of the Saw series, Jigsaw followers will fight over the legacy of Jigsaw and his work, bringing back old characters from the previous films.
Saw 3D (2010) Review:
Saw is now released to us in 3D! Do not expect this to change anything as Saw VII is pretty much the exact same movie as the two precedent ones. I will therefore not spend too much time describing the movie itself, which is just the same old stuff with new traps (in a 3D which is pretty much useless), more gore and mystery around who is what, etc.
This said…this one is supposed to be the last one of the series. So the writers are trying to bring a big surprise for the finish. To me, it gets really convoluted at this point and I would advise being up to date of what happened in the previous six Saw in order to enjoy that one. Still, the ending is surprising. To be honest, it doesn’t make perfect sense to me, and after seeing so many twists in the Saw story, I am not sure if I enjoyed that one…but it is an interesting twist to the story.
Now, whether this really the last episode of the lucrative Saw series or not is not clear, and not revealed in that film. Only time will tell…
