Having survived alone for a while in a world devastated by the T-virus, Alice rejoins a crew of survivors led by Olivera. Together they go on crossing the Nevada desert hoping to find refuge in Alaska. wakes up disoriented in a mansion. Wandering through its halls she overcomes several obstacles, including a deadly laser beam and a giant blade that falls from the ceiling. However, she is eventually killed by a bounding mine. Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) Review:
From this movie on, the Resident Evil movie saga separates from the video game and take its own story pathway (for the good of the movies I would say). Some elements of the story are therefore interesting, such as the use of Alice as a weapon, etc. but overall it is a rather shallow sequel, and I was rather disappointed. It is a great action movie, but again not so much horror. The Mad Max atmosphere is nice, and the attack of the crows is certainly one incredible scene. However, the overacting of some characters and the unlimited powers of Alice makes it often a bit too much. Only for fans of the series and those that like hot chicks fighting,
