Asylum Blackout (2011) Review:

Asylum Blackout (aka The Incident), is a very violent horror/thriller about people locked up in an place, in the vein of other claustrophobic movies such as The Divide (2012) or The Experiment.

A bunch of cooks are stuck in the asylum with an hospital filled with total psycho. The way things slowly get out of control is really well thought, and the movie slowly builds an incredibly tense atmosphere that will keep you captivated throughout the all 85 min until the final climax which brings its dose of extreme violence!

The lunatics themselves are super scary. The choice of actors with truly creepy face really helps. The way they kills is terribly brutal, and yet tainted with the innocence of those who don’t know what they are doing, making it even more atrocious.

With a great ending, this movie was one of the greatest surprises of 2012 for me!
