I am really at a loss of words on this release.  It's difficult to call this a good film and yet I find myself having to tell you that I enjoyed it.  I spent most of the film just kind of staring at the screen with my mouth agape unsure of what or why I was watching what was I was watching and yet I couldn't turn it off.

Such is my dilemma with TRILOQUIST the latest in the continuing string of release from Dimension Extreme.  You have to give Dimension credit they are churning out an interesting string of films Everyting form INSIDE to DIARY OF THE DEAD and now a new "possessed doll" flick.

I not even sure I can relate just exactly what the hell is going on in this one but I'm going to give it a shot.  Oh yeah, SPOILER AHEAD.

As the film opens we meet a mother who is trying to make it on the road as a triloquist.  She's busty, good looking and struggling .  She has her two kids in tow and the introduction of the film is done by the dummy creatively enough called DUMMY.  Yeah, that's kind of what we are dealing with here.

So, the dummy fills us in on the back story and we quickly find ourselves in modern day. The two kids have grown up.  The daughter is a full fledged hottie and the boy doesn't talk and walks around with this weird grin on his face and dressed up like a cowboy.

Soooo, the kids gather up DUMMY and hit the road on their way to Vegas where the plan is to make it big on he strip as a lounge act.

It doesn't take long till we find out that the girl is crazy as ape shit and folks start dying.  Is it DUMMY, is it psycho-bitch,  is it weird grin boy?  Don't worry all is revealed.

Like I stated the film is strange, real strange and yet it somehow wraps you in and forces you to watch.  It's worth watching for no other reason then to watch weird grin boy do his little dance whenever someone is about to die.  It's just bizarre.

Adequetly filmed and acted I think it's just the oh so strange storyline that gives this film the cockeyed twist but it's hard to argue with it as it does work on some level.

Very, very strange is all I can say.  I would definately pick it up and give it a spin.  It's not going to be for everyone but those of you who get it will be glad you took the time.

TRILOQUIST is available now.
