The trailer for DAYBREAKERS just hit and I've gotta say it sure does look a lot like BLADE.  No, it's not about a vigilante vampire who spends his time hunting bloodsuckers but it is about a world where Vampires abound and they are harvesting humans for their blood supply.  Ok, maybe not that much like BLADE but close enough it made me think about it.

It does look pretty cool though so check out the trailer below.  First here is the official word from LIONSGATE about it:

Two-time Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world's population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out.  However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.
