There you have it.  The first look at anything having to do with the remake of THE CRAZIES.  One of Romero's earlier works and an often overlooked little gem of a flick.

Slated for release in Sept. of this year and directed by Breck Eisner THE CRAZIES is a modern day spin on Romero's 1973 original.  Here's the official synopsis:

The story revolves around the inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply. Starring Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell.

I have always enjoyed the original and this is actually one remake that I am actually looking forward to.  More info soon as this one ramps up.
