I know I'm showing my age and I'm sure that a ton of you "younger" fans out there could give a shit about this but I think its cool so deal with it.

As a young horror fan cutting my teeth back in the late 60's and early 70's my Grandpa turned me onto the writings of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in particular THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES and if you don't think that it's a horror tale then it just goes to prove you have never given it a whirl.

SHERLOCK HOLMES tales were often dark and gothic and actually quite good.  So what the hell does all this rambling have to do with horror movies?  This Christmas Robert Downey Jr. will be taking a stab at playing the famed detective and I think it's going to rock.
