I knew nothing about this film till about five minutes ago but I checked out the trailer and damn. It looks pretty hot.
Looks like it owes a lot to 28 DAYS LATER and maybe a little bit of CABIN FEVER but hey, I still like what I see.
Can't beat a good old killer virus flick and CARRIERS looks like it might just deliver. Here's what I know so far:
A deadly virus has spread across the globe.
Contagion is everywhere, no one is safe and no one can be trusted. Four
young attractive people race through the back roads of the American
West to the pounding beat of a vacation soundtrack.
Their aim is to retreat to secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of
Mexico, where they could peacefully wait out the pandemic and survive
the apocalyptic disease. Carriers follow their getaway through a surreal and dangerous world where laws and rules no longer apply
Ok, so it's not particularly original sounding but check out this trailer and I think you'll change your tune a little:
Yeah, told you so. According to AITH this one has been sitting around for a while and while no firm release date is still known the fact that we are looking at a trailer can't be a bad thing.
We'll keep an eye on it and let you know when there is any movement.
