The book was awesome, it really was and I had kind of mixed feelings about a theatrical version. I was concerned that they would make a mockery of it but it seems my fears may be unfounded.
CBS did a report of the film that features just a couple quick glimpses of stuff from the film but the little bit it does show is nothing short of spectacular.
The report also features some really cool "real" stuff like Honest Abe's black stove pipe hat and the gloves he was wearing the night he was assassinated, complete with actual blood.
