I loved THE DESCENT.  It is one of my modern day classics and the thought of a second one should send tingles of excitement through my body but instead I have this feeling of just not really giving a shit.

A trailer popped up today over at IGN though and has got me once again excited for this one.  It's not a great trailer but it does do the job well enough to make me want to see where they head with the storyline.  The trailer does reveal that a new group of victims head on down into the cave taking last films sole survivor along for the ride ala RIPLEY in ALIENS.  Of course some bad ass hairless vampire coolness ensues and we shall all be terrified.  At least that's how it's supposed to work.  Behold the trailer:
