Those fine folks over at OVERTURE films and ANCHOR BAY passed along a couple clips in celebration of next weeks Blu-ray/DVD release of LET ME IN the Matt Reeves helmed American version of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN that really is some must see stuff.

Two clips were sent along and I'm going to post them both, just in separate articles.  First up is a clip titled Oh, It's Me in which those involved in the film talk about the scare factor and folks reaction on set during the filming of the more disturbing scenes.

Good stuff and remember LET ME IN hits home video on Tues. Feb. 1st.  Here's all the info you need on the release and the clip is ready for your viewing at the bottom of the article.

From Matt Reeves  the director of Cloverfield  comes the new vampire classic that critics are calling “chillingly real” (Scott Bowles, USA Today), “one of the best horror films of the year (Cinematical) and “a haunting, touching and unforgettable thriller” (Pete Hammond, Boxoffice Magazine).  In bleak New Mexico, a lonely, bullied boy, Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee of The Road), forms a unique bond with his mysterious new neighbor, Abby (Chloë Grace Moretz of Kick-Ass), who moves from town to town with the man who appears to be her father (Oscar Nominee Richard Jenkins of The Visitor).  Trapped in the mind and body of a child, however, Abby is forced to hide a horrific secret of bloodthirsty survival.  But in a world of both tenderness and terror, how can you invite in the one friend who may unleash the ultimate nightmare?

Starring Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road), Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass), Elias Koteas (Shutter Island), Cara Buono (“The Sopranos”), and Oscar nominee Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), Let Me In is a poignant coming-of-age story and a bone-chilling horror film as a bullied young boy befriends a young female vampire. In a pop-culture landscape littered with the bloodthirsty undead, Let Me In stands out as a very different kind of vampire movie  a haunting meditation on the difficult and often painful transition into adolescence. Based on the Swedish novel, Let the Right One In, Let Me In is a dark and violent love story, a beautiful piece of cinema and a respectful rendering of my novel for which I am grateful. (John Ajvide Lindqvist, author)

Genre fans and DVD aficionados will be thrilled with the generous amount of bonus features on the Let Me In Blu-ray and DVD, including the much-talked-about visual effects piece, Car Crash Sequence Step-By-Step, with commentary from Director Matt Reeves; From The Inside: A Look at the Making of Let Me In; The Art of Special Effects; Unrated Deleted Scenes; Trailer Gallery: Greenband Trailer, Redband Trailer; and a Poster and Still Gallery. The Blu-ray edition also includes the Blu-ray exclusive: Dissecting Let Me In, as well asa digital copy of the film.  And if that wasn’t enough, both editions include a Let Me In comic book with an exclusive cover designed by award-winning comic book artist Sean Phillips.
