They dont make movies like they used to. Some of the greatest horror came from the '80s, along with some of the worst, but there were some truly great gems that came from the era. James Gunn did an excellent job of capturing the spirirt of '80s horror with the sadly under seen Slither, that was greatly influenced by one of the greatest '80s horror films Night of the Creeps. Bloddy-Disgusting is reporting that there is a new '80s horror documentery currently filming in Las Angeles called The Rise and Fall of '80s Horror. Make-up artist Robert Hall is making the documentery and its said to include interviews with such horror icons as Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, Clive Barker, Ashley Laurence, and others. I'm always a sucker for a good documentery so I'll be keeping my eye on this one. Keep it here at the House of Horrors for the latest.
