Those fine folks over at Fango got their hot little hands on a handful of clips and the trailer for AWAKE the "I can hear everything you're saying even though I'm supposed to be knocked out" flick that hits theaters this weekend. Actually the TV spots for this one have looked pretty good.

Here is a breakdown of what the film is about:
n the film,
Christensen plays New Yorker Clayton Bereseford, a multimillionaire in
desperate need of a heart transplant. On the night of his quickie
wedding to forbidden love Samantha Lockwood (Alba), he receives the
life-saving call he has been desperately anticipating: Theyve found
him a heart. Rushing to the hospital, he is greeted by his cardiologist
and friend Jack Harper (Howard). With all going well, Clay is put under
anesthesia, hoping to awaken with his new organ secure in his chest.
But unfortunately, Clay soon realizes that not all is well. He can
still hear everything that is going on around him, but is unable to
move or speak; Clay is experiencing a true-life surgical phenomenon
known as anesthetic awareness. He can feel everything, but is unable
to stop it. While biting through the excruciating pain, Clay listens to
the treacherous conversations in the operating room and realizes that
he was never meant to survive this procedure. When he finally does wake
up, he must decide if everything he heard was real, or if it was just a
nightmare brought on by the anesthesia.
