Fangoira and Monsters HD are teaming up this year to bring us all New York’s Village Halloween Parade. The parade will be broadcast live on Monsters HD which is available on Dish Network, here are all the details:
Fangoria, America's #1 magazine and online destination for horror entertainment, and VOOM HD Networks’ MONSTERS HD, the first-ever and only 24-hour channel exclusively devoted to the horror and creature feature category, are joining forces to present the 2005 New York’s Village Halloween Parade, set to take place on Halloween October 31st from 8:30-10PM (Eastern). The Parade will be hosted by Metal rock legend/film composer/actor and producer Dee Snider. Along with Dee, will be "Scream Queens" Debbie Rochon and Felissa Rose. The parade will telecast live in high definition on MONSTERS HD, available nationally on DISH Network (Channel 9481).
2005 marks the 32nd consecutive year of the parade, which launched in 1973. The Big Apple’s largest Halloween celebration, the Village Halloween Parade attracts over 2 million spectators, as it runs up 6th Avenue from Spring Street to West 19th Street.
Representing the country’s only major annual night-time parade, the New York’s Village Halloween Parade presents over 50,000 participants, including giant puppets, special costume character performances, dozens of marching bands, jugglers, stilt walkers and special surprise guests from the world of horror entertainment.
