After 6 years it appears that maybe, just maybe we could soon be seeing a sequel to the hit indie film MALEVOLENCE.  I really can't believe that it has been 6 years since Steven Mena's film hit DVD which is sill a fan favorite int he indie circles.

Has it been too long?  Will the fans remember the original?  Time will tell. 

Bloody Disgusting got a heads up with some poster art and a whole bunch of new stills.



As you can tell the project is apparently now just going by the title BEREAVEMENT having dropped the MALEVOLENCE moniker all together.  Perhaps knowledge of the first film will not be a requirement on this one.

This sequel also brings some name talent to the table.  Michael Biehn and John Savage are along for the ride this time.

No release date yet but it looks like things are moving ahead so keep it here and I'll update you as soon as more info come in.
