MACHETE
KILLS, the sequel to Robert Rodriguez's wildly entertaining MACHETE (2010), was
originally scheduled for a September 2013 release, but has now been pushed back
to October 4th. The film will have its
world premiere on September 19, 2013 as the opening night film for the
Fantastic Fest film festival which runs September 19 - 26 in Austin, Texas at
the new Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline location at .
So
far, Danny Trejo, Alexa Vega and director Robert Rodriguez are scheduled to
appear at the premiere. Additional talent will be confirmed closer to the
opening of the festival.
