Director Michael Doughetry has a knack for bringing a sense of nostalgia for Halloween of past and I'm not talking this new generation of trick and treating in the day time nostalgia but I'm talking back in the day when you took a pillow case and were out hitting the neighborhood till midnight nostalgia. If you're younger than 30 you probably have no idea what I am talking about but for those of us old enough to remember, it was a special time.
My point is that director Michael Dougherty seems to be able to tap into that feeling for his projects, that's why Trick r Treat struck such a cord with so many of us. He's managed to bring that same sense to these short films he's done for FEARNET and he's done it again with this new one titled MAKING FRIENDS.
It's all done to help promote the fact that FEARNET will be showing 24 hours of Trick r Treat on Halloween day. A great way to spend the day!
