THE DESCENT PART 2 is coming our way from LIONSGATE on April 27th. As you all already know Neil Marshall isn't involved in this one but just about everything else is. The cave, the monsters, even the sole survivor. Here's all the info on the upcoming release. First up, the artwork, which I think is awesome!
And here's all the info on the story this time around as well as what special features we can all look forward to.
The Descent: Part 2, the chilling sequel to the critically acclaimed and globally successful horror hit, The Descent, makes its DVD debut from Lionsgate. Distraught, confused, and half-wild with fear, Sarah Carter (Shauna MacDonald) emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system where she encountered unspeakable terrors. Unable to plausibly explain to the authorities what happened – or why she's covered in her friends' blood – Sarah is forced back to the subterranean depths to help locate her five missing companions.
The DVD features bonus materials that include audio commentary with the director and cast, deleted scenes, the featurette “The Making of The Descent: Part 2: Deeper and Darker,” and storyboards.
The Descent: Part 2 debuts on DVD April 27, 2010 for the suggested retail price of $28.98.
