CAPTIVITY seems to be the latest film
to attempt to earn an audience by becoming infamous prior to its
release. You all should remember the pulled billboards, the banned
posters, etc. Well, the first trailer for the film has popped up on
line and to be quite honest with you, it looks like HOSTEL. Not much
is revealed but some shots of Elisha Cuthbert looking scared and them
telling you how infamous the film already is.
May 18th we well all be able
to see what the fuss is all about.
I can't help it but every time I see
Elisha Cuthbert I keep waiting for Kieffer Sutherland to break down
the down and rescue his Kim.
As you are all aware generally speaking
when a film makes this much noise before anyone has ever even seen it
it usually means one thing (suck) but maybe this will be the one, the
one that lives up to it's PR firm created hype, the one that blows
our socks off.
