Been hearing a lot about this GEORGE A. ROMERO PRESENTS series of projects but nothing solid has ever seemed to be available. Well, the folks over at 72nd Street Films seem to have nailed down an actual project and have some great info. This project involves Tom Savini’s Chill Factor, a project that has been around for a while but seems to be getting a new lease on life. I would be great to see more of the Chill Factor stories produced. Check out the one sheet there on the right and read on for the official word from 72nd Street Films.
72nd St. Films is joining forces with Sanibel Films II to produce a new horror anthology series -
George A. Romero presents…Tom Savini’s Chill Factor!
Each DVD volume will contain three stories for a total length of ninety minutes.
The pilot episode, HOUSE CALL, was written by Jeff Monahan, directed by Tom Savini, produced by Marty Schiff and Jeff Monahan, and executive produced by Chuck Zvirman at New Perspective Productions.
If you folks have yet to see this wonderful, wonderful project well, shame on you. You can read my review of it (done way back when I was working for Creature Corner) by clicking here and click here to head on over to the official site for 72nd Street Films where any updates will be posted or just keep it here and we’ll let you know when there is any movement.
Gotta love any project that teams up Romero and Savini again. Seems like old times.
