The reigning kings of SFX, KNB FX have jumped on board Frank Darabont’s production of The Mist. Fangoria got the first word and confirmation of this fact further cements the “must see” status of this film. 2007 is shaping up to be an incredible year for the genre. Here is part of the report from Fango:
Fango has now learned that principal photography is expected to begin February 20. In addition, we’ve been tipped that famed monster house KNB EFX is on board to handle all of the creaturefest’s practical FX, with the company’s Greg Nicotero also serving as the film’s 2nd-unit director.
