I love the TV spots for THE STRANGERS. It is really one of the few teasers that sends chills down my spine and I know that I can't wait to check it out and on May 27th I will do just that as ROGUE PICTURES hosts a special advance screening in Cleveland Ohio and I would like you to join me.
I've got passes to the 7:30 PM special screening and if you're in the Northern Ohio area then one of these babies are all yours.

In case you've been asleep for the last month, here is the synopsis of all the goodness:
Lock the doors. Assume
you're safe.
The horrifying events
that took place in the Hoyt family's vacation home at 1801 Clark Road
on February 11, 2005, are still not entirely known.
Champagne. Rose petals.
Candlelight. It was supposed to be a night of celebration for
Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman). But after
leaving a friend's wedding reception and returning to the house,
everything had collapsed for the happy couple.
Then came a 4 a.m. knock
on the door and a haunting voice.

Have you seen the commercial running on TV for this film. Probably one of the creepiest moments this year is when Liv Tyler asks that creep in the mask "why are you doing this to us?" and the creep answers "because you were home.".
I love it.
If you haven't seen the trailer yet, find it and watch it. I haven't seen this film yet but I'm getting a real good vibe about it.
Anyway, I've got a cool little contest for you and if you win then you get that one sheet you see there on the right and it's autographed to boot.

Today, The Cellar Door (trailer) is being released on DVD and the folks behind the film have sent over (5) copies of the film for use to giveaway to our loyal readers and fellow horror fanatics.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen the film, so here is the synopsis from the official press release:
A young woman awakes to find herself imprisoned in a serial killers basement. She is not the first to be entrapped in this diabolical torture chamber. She is not the first to captivate his perverse affection, Herman (James DuMont, WINNER Best Acting Performance Shriekfest) has been searching for the perfect girl, but all hes collected are pieces a chunk of hair; a severed finger; a jar of blood and now, the alluring and beautiful Rudy (Michelle Tomlinson, WINNER Pretty/Scary Award Shriekfest).
