Sure, it may be called PROM NIGHT but other then that from what I'm seeing this so called remake has nothing to do with the original Jamie Lee Curtis slasher flick.
It's hard to believe that they actually made 4 films in this franchise. WOW.
Anyway, the so called remake is slated to assault theaters on April 11th and while this one does take place on PROM NIGHT the majority of this one seems to revolve around a young blond who finds herself locked in a hotel with her friends and a deranged, recently escaped ex love that is hell bent on making sure that she don't make it to the dance.
An official site just popped up over on the SONY server. Not much to see except a trailer and a chance to sign up for future updates via email but I'm sure that the coming weeks will bring many more additions to the site.
