We caught wind of a cool indie project called Creatures of the Night. We wanted to bring you all on board and get you up to speed with what is going on with the project.  Production Manager for the film, Kevin Powers, was kind enough to send us along the following info and the production shots you see on the right and at the bottom of this article.

The film is being shot deep in the Appalachian Mountains to depict the Carpathians circa 1941 during the occupation of Nazi Germany. A German Panzer command has arrived in Transylvania to take over a tank division whose officers mysteriously disappeared several weeks earlier. Once in Transylvania they await the arrival of the divisions as guests of the reclusive Count Rasnov and his family. While at Rasnov manor strange things begin happening and Germans begin popping up dead, I mean chewed up dead. The Count explains that Forest Gypsies, also known as Vermin, are responsible for the recent deaths. Soon the German officers discover the horrible truth about what happened to the men they were sent there to replace.

Awesome creature effects by Atlanta FX master Toby Sells, coupled with incredible locations and wardrobe, and cast will make "Creatures of the Night" one of the most exciting and horrifying indie films to come down the pike in a long while. Directed by Ron McLellen, Executive Producer Tim E. Hayes

We will be keeping a close eye on this one around House of Horrors and will update you as required.
