Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the theater…director Kevin S. Tenney, director of 1986’s WITCHBOARD (yeah, that movie with Tawny Kitaen!), has announced that he is remaking his own film.  I was not a big fan of the original, which is most definitely an 80’s flick, so this has the potential to be an improvement.  His latest film BRAIN DEAD, is backed by the same company that wants to remake WITCHBOARD.  No word yet on casting or shooting schedule.

While he's at it, he may want to redo NIGHT OF THE DEMONS, a truly silly film he made right after WITCHBOARD (and that I cut a college class to see so I could get a free poster at the theater opening day!)
