Thirty Years of Terror

Aug 27, 2007, 11:7 am

Can it really be 30 years since John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN premiered?  Apparently!  In celebration of this momentous event (not to mention the highly lucrative franchise which made the late Moustapha Akkad a wealthy man), a large-scale convention will be held (presumably in Pasadena, CA) to celebrate the film and its sequels.  A convention was held for the 25th anniversary, so one can only imagine how large the 30th anniversary will be.

A website has been created for the convention and promises much information in the coming months when it goes live.  Here’s hoping they get Jamie Lee Curtis and John Carpenter to appear!
