Got the press release on Anchor Bays release of DEAD AND DEADER which will be hitting shelves on April 10th.  Got the box art as well.  Read on for the official press release that outlines everything you need to know:

On April 10th, Anchor Bay Entertainment releases Dead and Deader, a unique tale of undead soldiers, mutant scorpions and marauding zombies – measured with a healthy dose of humor. Produced by Mark A. Altman (House of the Dead 1&2, All Souls Day, Free Enterprise, Room 6), Dead and Deader has been critically acclaimed as the world’s first fully designated “zomedy,” filled with pop culture references as well as legions of the walking dead. For the sharply priced SRP of $19.98, the fun starts with the special “Zombie O-Card” packaging that reveals hordes of zombies underneath!

On a mission in Cambodia, Lt. Bobby Quinn (Dean Cain, “Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”) leads his platoon on a raid, targeting a secret experimental laboratory. Once inside, they make several gruesome discoveries including a tank of mysterious life-extending scorpions, mutilated dead bodies and a population of zombies, ready to munch on the living.

When Lt. Quinn wakes up stateside in a body bag barely avoiding his own autopsy, he finds that he is the only one who can save the world from a growing zombie infection with the help of an unlikely band of heroes including the military cook Judson (Guy Torry, Pearl Harbor, Funny Money, American History X) and wacky waitress Holly, (Susan Ward, Shallow Hal, Wild Things 2).

Dead and Deader is full of “hilarious one-liners, nerdy pop culture references, and even more enjoyable zombie mutilation…” (Blogcritics.org). It features an all-star cast full of genre faves including Armin Shimerman (“Buffy,” “Deep Space Nine”), John Billingsley (“Star Trek: Enterprise,” “The Nine”), Dean Haglund (“The X-Files”), Colleen Camp (Clue, Apocalypse Now) and Peter Greene (Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects, The Mask) as the villainous Dr. Scott. Add in zombies, Jindoo, amazing horror effects from Oscar™-winning KNB EFX Group (The Chronicles of Narnia) and a former Superman -- it doesn’t get much better (and deader) than Dead and Deader!

Dead and Deader is fleshed out with the following extras:

    * Widescreen (1.78:1) presentation, enhanced for 16x9 televisions
    * Audio commentary with Writer Steve Kriozere, Writer/Producer Mark Altman and Composer Joe Kraemer.
    * Raising The Dead:  The Making of Dead And Deader
    * Photo Gallery
