While it didn’t make a lot of noise at the box office the Platinum Dune production of THE HITCHER will be making it’s DVD debut on May 1st and I’m thinking it might find a few folks that just may find they wished they would have taken the time to check it out when it was on the big screen.  

Sean Bean play the menacing John Ryder this time around and actually doesn’t suck although for this horror fan Rutger Hauer will always and forever be John Ryder.  All in all though The remake is a pretty bloody good time and you’re going to want to pick it up.  Here is what the DVD release will feature:

Can’t help but notice the lack of any type of commentary tracks.  Maybe they just don’t have anything interesting to say.  Remember, May 1st is the date that THE HITCHER hits the street in your town.
