How often do you get a trailer for a film after it has had it's theatrical run?  Ah, how about NEVER.

Until now that is.  BLOOD CREEK has a very limited run in dollar theaters back before the Halloween season.  It's due for a DVD release from LIONSGATE on Jan. 19th so I guess they got the trailer out on time for that at least.

A lot of you fans of THE EVIL DEAD never got the chance to experience the film in a theater with a group of fans.  THE EVIL DEAD hit hard on home video but nothing can beat seeing it in a darkened theater with a couple of hundred of your best friends.  Luckily GRINDHOUSE RELEASING is going to start showing the classic flick in movie houses across the country and tonight I have the promo poster for the event as well as the first few dates coming up on 2010.

As far as where it can be seen, here are the confirmed date so far but keep checking back and as new cities and locations are added, I'll let you know.

Don't know about you folks but I am really looking forward to this new JOHN CARPENTER project THE WARD.  The man is long overdue for a kick ass feature project.  Loved the stuff he did for MASTERS OF HORROR and I'm liking the sound of this one.  Here is the synopsis for this one and the pic is below.

"In JOHN CARPENTER'S THE WARD, Kristen, a beautiful but troubled young woman, finds herself bruised, cut, drugged, and held against her will in a remote ward of a Psychiatric Hospital. She is completely disoriented, with no idea why she was brought to this place and no memory of her life before being admitted. All she knows is that she isn't safe.

The other patients in the ward, four equally disturbed young women, offer no answers, and Kristen quickly realizes things are not as they seem. The air is heavy with secrets, and at night, when the hospital is dark and foreboding, she hears strange and frightening sounds. It appears they are not alone.

One-by-one the other girls begin to disappear and Kristen must find a way out of this hellish place before she, too, becomes a victim. As she struggles to escape, she will uncover a truth far more dangerous and horrifying than anyone could have imagined."

Something from THE DESCENT 2 that actually has me looking forward to this one finally making it to the states.

Bloody Disgusting got their hands on a clip that takes us into the cave and up close and personal with one of the monsters.
