Zombieland (2009) Review:

Zombieland is a rather fun zombie/horror-comedy. I wasn’t really laughing out loud, but the overall ambiance and situations are comical and the film good entertainment! The main reason may be the great casting, gathering a bunch of rising stars from Hollywood (Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, etc). Thereee are also a bunch of great ideas, such as the different rules about how to survive zombies. I found it great how the story tends to kill anyone who doesn’t respect them.

However, this remains a big-budget Hollywood movie, with a classic love story that impinges upon half of the movie, a lame happy ending, and jokes that are funny but formatted…typically the kind of movie that would not risk an apolitically-correct joke! Still, I had a great time watching it, but I do not understand how this film could because of one of the best-rated horror films on IMBD…
