Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) Review:

The strength of the first two movies mainly came from the various flashbacks which introduced great twists in the scenario. Because this movie is a genesis, the end of the story is already known and the twists and surprise in the plot are gone.  Unfortunately for us, the writers/directors did not succeed at compensating this with new innovative ideas to entertain us. Of course, the great action and the scene of the great monster are still here but the movie is told in a rather lengthy manner which makes it rather boring to watch. Because this piece of the story adds something to the saga, I would still recommend it, but to fans only (and maybe those that simply like to watch monsters fighting, like me).
