Tremors (1990) Review:

Tremors is one of these movies that are not especially great, but that are based on such a great idea that it makes them simply unforgettable. The concept of the underground worms is simple but very efficient.

The movie manages to create simple rules that are respected at all time (i.e. do not touch soft ground, do not make noise or vibration). Understanding these rules really efficiently gets you into the movie, letting you constantly wonder how the characters could possibly escape these crazy worms, ans whether you would have done the same.

The characters of both Valentine (Kevin Bacon) and Earl are really funny, as are most of the other town inhabitants. Not the movie of the decade, but one that does not take itself seriously and yet manage to be captivating. Recommended to those who like funny monster movie, others may get bored.
