Puppet Master: Axis of Evil (2010) Review:
I loved a couple of ideas in Axis of Evil. First, it shows the aftermath of Toulon’s suicide. The Puppet Master films are unique in that the writers and producers can fill stories in between previous films to make sense. The second aspect I enjoyed is that the Nazi’s are yet again the main antagonist during the World War II era.
That being said the movie is tough to watch at times having painfully written dialogue and having some dull moments. There is some very wooden acting in this movie too, almost like the puppets themselves. Check the movie out if you’re a die-hard fan of the franchise and to view the new ninja puppet. There are some cool scenes and I like the concept but overall its low score is received for bad writing, directing and acting
