Karikalan Movie News and Updates: Karikalan is a Tamil action film, Directed by L.l. Kannan. The producer is S. S. Vaasan and S. Pranathi. Vikram and Zarine Khan in the lead roles which were shelved are likely to kickstart again. The film is based on the life of the famous Tamil King of early Chola during the Sangam period. Vikram will be seen in the historical role of Karikalan Chola, one of the popular Tamil kings of early Chola during the Sangam period. Zarine Khan is enacting the character of the volar girl.
However, the current director, Kannan had a different story to tell. He said All is well with the project. We have completed 25 percent of it and I ‘ll be shooting the rest of it once Vikram gets done with his current assignments. Karikalan revolves around the man who built one of the first dams in the country.
