I Saw the Devil (2010) Review:
The least that can be said about “I Saw the Devil” is that it is an extremely intense thriller-horror film! The movie goes on with such a paste that you do not have time to relax for one second. As in many Asian horrors, the deaths are particularly gruesome and nasty, and some scene really gore. It gets a little repetitive at some point, and some may find the movie a bit too long, but this was not the case for me. I loved every single bit of it. It is also meant to be a shocking movie and you’ll find inside a lot of nudity and some really nasty characters. Min-Sik Choi, as in Oldboy, plays beautiful and give strength to his (really disgusting) character.
I found fascinating how the good guy at the beginning is the bad guy at the end and (almost) vice-versa. This movie really makes you think about what is right and what is wrong when it comes to vengeance.
For me, the best movie of 2010.
