RE: Friday The 13th Movies

T4: I have had a love for horror movies since I was 5 yrs. old (I'm 19 now). At 5 yrs. old, my first movie I actually ever watched was Friday The 13th.I don't know what my mother was thinking but she wanted to watch it (so did I) and sat me down beside her. Till this day I have loved horror movies with a passion. My favorite flicks are the Friday The 13th movies.
I can't get enough of horror movies. People smoke pot to escape reality or for a hobby, me it's horror movies, my kind of drug. So refreshing just to sit back and watch an excellent gore flick. I think this website is one of the best, keep on choppin'!!!!!!!!!! (don't let me, or other horror fans out there, down!)

RE: Friday the 13th

I think this web site is great. I'm a big fan of the Friday the 13th movies, and love to look at web sites but there are few good ones out there. Yours gives me me different opinions, pictures, sounds and more. Plus I get to check out other movies.

A big horror fan,

Glen DiSantis

PS- I'm looking foward to seeing the reviews of the other Halloween movies!

RE: Friday the 13th

I saw the first of the series when I was 10 years old. Against the wishes of my parents I sat alone in the dark in the den watching this movie. I can still remember being absolutly terrified. The part the really freaked me right out was when the girl was trying to get away and found the body in the truck and the body hanging from the tree etc... Anyway I was so scared I had to sleep with my mom and dad. So I was hooked, and I love every one them, of coarse some more then others, with The Final Chapter being my favorite and Jason Takes Manhatten being my least favorite. JASON FOREVER!!!!!!!

RE: not a fair statement

I agree that horror movies are the best movies, but to say that Friday the 13th started it all is not fair. Black Christmas set the standard for John Carpenter's Halloween, which set the standard for Jason Voorhees. Friday the 13th part 1 is a masterpiece of horror, but Jason Voorhees is a Michael Myers clone. Don't get me wrong, I love Jason movies, but I feel Halloween and Black Christmas deserve more credit.
