BRAD ANDERSON has made a name for himself by putting out quality films like SESSION 9, THE MACHINEIST and most recently TRANSIBERIAN.  He don't pump them out quick, but he makes them right.

He's also done a quite a bit of TV work.  He's directed quite a few episodes of FRINGE as well as FEAR ITSELF and MASTERS OF HORROR.  A pretty impressive slate and it's only natural that we would want to know what he's up to next.

Well, it's a nifty sounding end of the world pic titled THE VANISHING ON SEVENTH STREET and is sounds pretty rockin.

Here's what is know.

In the film a mysterious and seemingly global blackout causes countless populations to simply vanish, leaving only their clothes and possessions behind. A small handful of survivors band together in a dimly-lit tavern on 7th Street, struggling to combat the apocalyptic horror. Realizing they may in fact be the last people on earth, the darkness hones in on them alone.

Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo will star.  The project is in pre-production.  I'm liking the sound of this one so lets hope it gears up quick and Anderson and Co. can get busy getting busy.

I'lll update you as info comes in  so keep it here.
