Strip Nude For Your Killer was originally set to be part of the, Giallo Collection Volume 2, but as that collection appears to have fallen by the wayside, fans can now see this film, thanks to the efforts of, Blue Underground
.

Strip Nude For Your Killer opens with a woman dying of an apparent heart attack during an abortion. Her body is placed into a tub to make the death appear, natural, but someone else seems to realize this death was anything but, natural. It's not long before the Dr who performed the back-alley abortion is found murdered in a most gruesome fashion and the killing doesn't end with the Dr., the models from a photography studio are being murdered by a killer dressed in black leather and wearing a motorcycle helmet. There's no end to the parade of characters that may or may not be the killer. Could it be Gisella, the owner of the model agency? Perhaps Gisella's husband, Maurizio? It might be, Magda or her photographer boyfriend, Carlo, who seems to have a link to most of the models. It could be beautiful blonde model, Patrizia....there's no end to the list of possible suspects! Strip Nude For Your Killer offers a decent enough mystery, but lapses from time to time in some unneeded 'fillers', too.

Now, I haven't been watching giallo films for more than a couple of years and this film is quite different from all the others viewed before it. Strip Nude For Your Killer, is by no means a horrible film, but at the same time, this film appears to use the violence and nudity as more of a crutch than a supplement to the film. Barely a scene goes by where there isn't some bare flesh on display, from the opening scene with the young woman spread-eagle on the table for the abortion to the endless parade of models baring some or all, the nudity is rampant and even has some male nudity, which isn't always the case with these films.

The cast is a 'Who's Who' of Italian cinema and boasts the likes of; Edwige Fenech (Magda), Nino Castelnuovo (Carlo), Amanda (Gisella), Femi Benussi (Lucia) and Solvi Stubing (Patrizia). Directing and also writing was Andrea Bianchi, he did a nice job of keeping the film moving at a decent pace and tossing in some red-herrings and moments of humor.

This was my first viewing of the film, so I have nothing to compare the video quality with, but overall, I'd say this is a very nice looking print. Colors appear natural and solid with grain appearing mainly in the darker scenes. Blue Underground offers the film in an anamorphic widescreen of 2.35:1. The disc has the dubbed English track and while it would have been nice to have the original Italian language offered with English subs, this is a minor complaint. Bonus features are the theatrical trailer and a 12-minute featurette; Strip Nude For Your Giallo which is an interview with actress Solvi Stubing and film co-writer, Massimo Felisatti.Strip Nude For Your Killer makes for interesting and entertaining viewing, but I'm not sure I'd recommend this to a casual fan of Italian giallo films, but it's definitely worth a rental and I'm sure hard-core giallo fans will want this Blue Underground offering as part of their collection.
