It seems that the new Resident Evil film, Resident Evil: Extinction is about to roll. Today Fango reported via Variety that Oded Fehr ( you will remember him as Ardeth Bay The Mummy films as well as his turn in Resident Evil: Apocalypse ) has signed on for the third film in the franchise. Here is part of the report from Fango:
Variety reports that Oded Fehr has signed to co-star in RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, the third film in the video game-based franchise, reprising his role from the previous RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE. Also back from that film are Sienna Guillory, Mike Epps, Iain (DARKNESS) Glen and, of course, series star Milla Jovovich. Russell Mulcahy directs this latest installment, which, like the other EVILs, was scripted by Paul W.S. Anderson and is produced by Anderson and his Impact Pictures partner Jeremy Bolt, along with Constantin Film's Robert Kulzer.
Filming is slated to start next month in Mexico.
