I know there is a group of you out there that could care less about this film but I have to tell you, I caught a few moments of this film a week or so ago when it aired on the Sci-Fi Channel and you know what? It didn’t really suck much. Not much of a recommendation I know but hey, I call em like I see em. What I saw on Sci-Fi peaked my interest enough to want to check it out when it hits DVD and what follows is what we all can expect to see on the disc:
Based on the popular Sega video game and following in the horrifying steps of other zombie hits including Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Shaun of the Dead, comes the ultimate, bloodcurdling horror film, House of the Dead 2. A growing zombie infection overtakes an isolated university campus. Hoping to stop the spread of the infection and end the zombie plague, a secret government agency is sent in to find Patient Zero, the original zombie from which the infection started in hopes of creating an antidote. Once on campus, agency operatives Nightingale and Ellis find that the entire university has been completely overrun by the undead! Immersed in a giant zombie battle, Nightingale and Ellis discover some of their fellow agents have their own plans for the zombie DNA…
