First Look at Black Christmas Remake
By John Marrone
Feb 27, 2006, 13:58
Anyone remember that tense slasher movie from the 70's called Black Christmas? It starred Margot Kidder, John Saxon, and Olivia Hussey, was directed by Bob Clark (yeah, the same guy who then made the college smut film Porky's, only to follow that up with the christmas family classic A Christmas Story!) Glen Morgan and James Wong will be doing the remake - refilming the story of a killer who terrorizes a sorority house with phone calls before he starts on a killing spree. The original Black Christmas was pretty damn tense (96 viewers gave it an average grade of B+ on Yahoo Movies), and has often been given credit to really setting fire to the slasher premise that would soon take off to the heights of Friday the 13th and Halloween.
Andrea Martin, who starred in the original, is in the new film, as shown in the photos below. Not a whole lot to see as far as first looks - basically some test shots of Andrea Martin and Katie Cassidy. If you'd like to flip through the enitre set, click here.
