FRIGHT NIGHT Next On The Remake List?

With Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN remake kicking some box office ass we all knew that the remake express was about to leave the station. As such the following news should come as no surprise.

FRIGHT NIGHT is the next rumored project now being shopped around by Sony via their Screen Gems label. Love this movie and like most remakes this one feels as unneeded as the all the others but less just embrace the horror and suck it up.

I actually just recently watched the original last week and you know what? It still freakin rocks. Roddy McDowell is awesome as Peter Vincent, Vampire Hunter. Effects are great, acting is wonderful, sure, why not remake it.

Anyway, as this one gears up we'll keep a close eye and trust me on this one, this is just the start of announced remakes of modern classics.
