First Round Of HATCHET Showings Announced

Anchor Bay has released a listing of cities and cinemas where you'll be able to see HATCHET when it hits the nation on Sept. 7th.  They say that tons of more locations will be added soon so keep it here for the latest.

Here's the update straight from the BAY:

We are very proud to release the first preliminary list of local theaters that have confirmed HATCHET for opening weekend, September 7th. By no means is this list final; we are adding more theaters every day (including Los Angeles).

We encourage fans that don’t see their market or local theaters in the list below to go to their local cinema and demand they play HATCHET. In convention after convention, we’ve heard thousands of fans express a desire to see the introduction of Victor Crowley on the big screen.  And the HATCHET ARMY has succeeded!  Not only did you rally and get your theaters to carry the film on opening day, but HATCHET is playing in the BEST theaters within those markets!  Not the second run or out-of-the-way arthouse theaters like most independent films would normally start at.  Congratulations to the HATCHET ARMY!  You are amazing and you DID IT!

Now is the time to make your voice heard for truly independent filmmaking! Help us make history with the next great horror icon – Victor Crowley!  Look at what your fellow HATCHET ARMY members succeeded in doing.  YOU can make it happen at your local theater, too!
