EXCLUSIVE: In Search of Lovecraft Trailer set for Halloween

Who doesn't love H. P. Lovecraft?  If you don't, there's something seriously wrong with you.  He rules.

David J. Hohl has been working for the past year on production of a new indie horror flick, In Search of Lovecraft.  The film deals with the investigation of cult happenings that may or may not tie in with the inestimable author of weird fiction.  As his site is happy to report, it also features sexy chicks and some fun effects.

The idea sounds somewhat similar to other reality-bending horrors like In the Mouth of Madness and The Blair Witch Project.  Hohl claims on his website that his movie blurs things even further, with a real occult ritual performed on the set, and filmed.

Word is that Hohl will wet our collective whistle at midnight on Halloween with the first official teaser for In Search of Lovecraft., which will premiere on the movie's website.
