The Robert Englund
directed feature KILLER PAD has been shot and is in post and todays
email brought a first look at the film with the release of the films
trailer.
It’s posted over at the films official site so click here to head on over and check it out. They have also posted a series of post production updates, here is one of the updates:
We
have officially wrapped picture on this movie thanks to our editor,
Erik C. Andersen. Erik worked on the feature films Animal, You Did
What, Come as You Are, Bring It On, Desperado, and Down With Love. He
won an EMMY for the PSA “A Community of Caring - Joe.” He also helped
introduce Lightworks (one of the first computer-based editing systems)
and he is one of the editors who authored the book Transitions - Voices
on the Craft of Digital Editing. Let’s just say he knows what he’s
doing!
Killer
Pad has now been handed over to Private Island for sound
post-production and should be ready in a matter of weeks! Our first
screening to the selected audience went very well, and we loved all the
feedback that we received. The audience laughed so much throughout and
they really enjoyed having some one-on-one time with Robert so they
could ask questions about the movie and he could get their opinions on
scenes we were playing with. Now with sound, all the appropriate farts,
squeals, screams and whimpers will be added to full effect, so not a
beat is missed when you all get to see it in theaters.
I
also want to take a moment to thank all the makeup companies that
contributed to the film and helped our head makeup artist Karen Faye
and our assistant makeup artist Annette Lorant during production:
Clinique Laboratories, Lancome Cosmetics, MAC Cosmetics and Senna
Cosmetics – our actors couldn’t have looked as great without you!
Please
be sure to check out our newest additions to the media gallery – we
have some wardrobe sketches from our costume designer, Jennifer
Soulages (her picture is in there too!) and a few fun pics from the
temporary ADR session we had with Eric, Daniel, and Rosalynn. We’ll be
sure to let you all know as soon as the movie is finished and when you
can expect to see it on the big screen.
No release info yet but I am sure
that we are not far away from finding out how we’ll be able to see this
one. Keep it here for the latest
