“If you find her cabin deep in the woods, then you’ll never be seen again. She’ll kill you and then eat you… or worse.”

There’s just something about a couple of hot chicks, hanging out deep in the woods that drives these crazy mountain folk wild. Genre favs Tiffany Shepis and Tina Krause find out the hard way this time around in the Indie slasher film, Blood Oath

Albatross Films, a Tennessee-based company, made the underground documentary Behind the Wall of Sleep based on the production of the recent Lions Gate release Beyond the Wall of Sleep. They have now made their first feature film, Blood Oath. The film tells the story of a group of young people taking on a disfigured killer in the woods of Tennessee.

Synopsis:

A group of friends on a weekend camping trip decide to investigate a local urban legend. The trip will change the lives of everyone in the group. They will have to fight to stay alive, but will soon pray for death.

Hill people on the rampage seem to be a very popular subject with the success of such films as The Hills Have Eyes (Review #1, #2, #3, #4) and Wrong Turn. Especially to the Indie scene where it must be much easier to steal a location shooting deep in the woods than it would be on a public street. Then when you throw in camera friendly images of Tiffany Shepis and Tina Krause in their short shorts and covered in blood, how can you go wrong? The other nice thing about Indie films is it gives some very talented beauties, like the gorgeous Natalie Hart you see pictured, a chance to get some quality exposure. Here’s to Independent horror films!!

The film is complete and will be making its premiere this Halloween weekend at Belcourt Cinema in Nashville, TN. For more information on the film and the premiere, be sure to check out their OFFICIAL SITE.
