Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, two of the biggest actors in Hollywood, each own film production companies. So what does that have to do with horror? Well, Pitt's company, Plan B, won the bidding war, and gained exclusive movie rights for a book called "World War Z", written by Max Brooks. Brooks wrote and released "Zombie Survival Guide" in 2003, an awesome in-depth insight into what it would take to survuve the zombie apocalypse. Now Brooks is set to release World War Z - set 10 years into the great global war of humans vs. the undead.
The rights sold for six figures! What does this mean? Well the great zombie hollywood epic may have just been born.
